Location: Newcastle and surrounding areas

Hourly Rate: £13 - £18 per hour
Contract: Temporary/Agency Work

Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
DBS Check: Online Enhanced DBS required
We are urgently seeking experienced and compassionate Children and Young People (CYP) Workers for immediate starts! If you have a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young people, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to children and young people in residential or community settings
• Assist with daily care, educational, and emotional support needs
• Promote independence, social skills, and positive development
• Work closely with other professionals, families, and carers to ensure the well-being of the young people
• Document progress and report on any concerns or changes in behaviour
• Ensure that all safeguarding practices and procedures are followed
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children and young people in a similar role
• Online Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring and empathetic approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with children and young people
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different environments
